Ghostwriting
Your story. Our keyboard. Results that read like you.
Sometimes the barrier isn’t the idea—it’s the hours. Our ghostwriting turns your premise, tropes, and heat level into a draft you can publish with confidence. From a rough first draft you’ll refine to a publication-ready manuscript, we write romance that protects your voice and delivers on reader expectations.
Why Ghostwrite with Indie Story Studio?
You bring the spark—we bring the pages. We’re romance-specialized (contemporary, dark romance, romantasy/PNR, why-choose), trope-fluent, and market-savvy. We build books for read-through: tight beats, escalating stakes, chemistry that lands, and blurbs that sell. Every tier includes transparent collaboration (tracked changes, check-ins) and a clear next-step path to editing and launch so that our clients know what to expect and what their timelines should be

How Our Ghostwriting Works (Step-by-Step)
1. Blueprint Call (Plan for 20–30 min): We will discuss what you are looking for. Subgenre, tropes, comps, heat, POV/tense, word count, deadlines and anything else that you may have questions about.
2. Outline Provided TO US: You will provide us with a detailed outline to work from. We can provide a sample outline so that you see exactly how detailed you need to be. We also offer this service, as well as an outline fleshing out service, if needed.
3. Drafting: Weekly milestones based on your schedule. We keep you updated and ask targeted questions only when needed.
4. Revisions: Per tier. We use tracked changes.
5. Handoff & Next Steps: Manuscript + (if applicable) style sheet and blurb draft, plus an editing path tailored to your goals.
Onboarding checklist: Be prepared with your premise/series concept, trope list, heat level, comps, character basics (wounds/goals/lies), setting notes, non-negotiables, and a target date (if you have one).
